Can I try a class before I join?

Your first class is always free! Click HERE to schedule your free class.

Do I need to pre-register or can I just show up?

While you can absolutely just show up, we would prefer you pre-register. By registering, you ensure you get details about where to meet us and what to expect. Register now!

What do I need to bring to class

For you: water, yoga mat or towel, or blanket, sunscreen, and comfortable exercise shoes and clothing.

For your littles: snacks, toys, diaper bag essentials, and any type of stroller.

I just had a baby, when can I join stroller classes?

You can begin attending class with your doctor's clearance to begin exercising, typically after your six week postpartum appointment. See you there, mama!

Can I attend classes if I am pregnant?

Absolutely! We encourage expectant moms to continue to exercise throughout their pregnancies as long as everything has been approved by their physician. We can modify any exercise that poses a challenge as you progress through your pregnancy.

FIT4MOM® recommends you obtain your doctor’s approval prior to beginning any exercise program. If pregnant, please speak with your physician before your first day.

How will I know if the class location has changed due to weather?

In case of inclement weather, outdoor class locations may change. Pre-enroll for classes to be emailed with last minute weather location changes or cancellations. You can also check the schedule on our website.

Do I need to be a runner to attend these classes?

Absolutely not! FIT4MOM is for moms of all fitness levels. We meet for a warm up, then power walk or jog to each exercise station. You exercise at the pace you feel most comfortable.

At what age can my baby be in a jogger?

As a general guideline, when your baby can hold his/her head up, he/she can ride in a jogger. But, we suggest that you follow your own stroller manufacturer’s guidelines. You can use a head roll and bolster to make your baby even more secure. With shock absorbers and recline features, the age can be quite young.

Do I need a jogging stroller for the workout?

Jogging strollers are not required. As long as the stroller is sturdy, not prone to tipping and all children can be safely strapped into their seats for the duration of class, it will work just fine!

My baby doesn't like being in the stroller, gets fussy or I need to feed?

Our classes are designed to keep the kids moving and engaged by incorporating songs and various props to keep them engaged. With that said, if you need to change, nurse or console your baby, please do so - remember, you are in good company.

Can my older children walk along or ride their bike during class?

Safety is our first priority. Kids older than kindergarten are welcome to walk along the stroller and then sit next to your stroller during the station. We would suggest bringing a blanket or folding chair to keep big kid happy. We do ask that they are not running around during the station or playing with exercise equipment.

Can I bring kids to mom-only classes like body boost or body ignite?

Sadly, no. Our classes like Body Boost and Body Ignite are for moms-only.

Do I need to be in great shape to participate in class?

Not at all! FIT4MOM is for moms of all fitness levels. We empower you through choice. You will be coached by a trained fitness instructor who will guide you through exercises best for your age and stage of motherhood. You exercise at the pace you feel most comfortable.

When can I join Run Club?

When can I join Run Club?

Run Club runs in 8 week sessions. Please find out more about our next Run Club session HERE.

What if I have not run since before I had my baby or if I have never run at all?

Our Run Club coaches will lead you to your first mile! Whether it is your first mile ever, or your first mile post-baby, Run Club is appropriate for all levels.

Can I bring my child with me to run club?

Run Club is stroller friendly. Any child that joins you for Run Club should be safely secured in a stroller.

What should I bring to run club?

Running shoes and water are essential. A fanny pack or running backpack may be needed for phone or keys.

Our Village

What is FIT4MOM Our Village Events & Playgroups?

As moms, we understand that life is about finding balance while nurturing our minds, bodies and spirits. Our FIT4MOM Our Village Events and Playgroups was created with this aspiration in mind. By becoming a member, you will build a tight community of moms to share advice, tips and most importantly, laughter. Support and connect with other moms through:

  • WEEKLY innovative & creative playgroups - fun for baby

  • MONTHLY entertaining Moms' Nights Out - this is your time

  • MONTHLY Mommy and Me play dates- get your kids involved in fun activities, special events for showers, births, meal trains, etc., for our members, "Moms with a Mission" activities to help better the community where you live and play. Join us and make a difference.

  • ****You do NOT have to be a member of FIT4MOM to join the FIT4MOM Our Village Weekly Playgroup. All moms are welcome! This is a FREE group!

What if I need to hold or cancel my membership?

You may put your membership on hold for reasons such as extended vacations, injuries etc. There is a $20 fee to put membership on hold, however we require 30 days notice to cancel your membership or put your account on hold. Any requests to put your membership on hold received after the 1st of the month will not go into effect until the following month. If a cancellation notice is received mid-month, the following months membership will be prorated to reflect your 30 day notice. Our Membership

What does my Membership include?

Your membership includes unlimited classes at any of the FIT4MOM West Sacramento / Natomas locations. We offer Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, Strides 360, Body Ignite and Body Boost. Body Well and Run Club+ are not included in your membership and are available at an additional cost.

Membership also includes being a member in our closed Facebook group, weekly playgroups, monthly Moms’ Night Outs and more!

Can I bring family or friends who are visiting to class with me?

Visitors are welcome to come to class FREE of charge! If you have an extended-stay guest who will participate longer than one week, they will be subject to a per class charge. All visitors must sign our waiver in order to participate.

How do I place my membership on hold or cancel it?

Email haleyorr@fit4mom.com to change the status of your membership. There is a 30 day notice to put a hold or cancel on your account. Once payment processes there are no refunds.

Memberships will be placed on hold for the maximum of 4 months and there is a $20 hold fee. Members are responsible for payment once the agreed upon hold has been automatically lifted.

When can I place my membership on hold or cancel it?

Holds can start any day of your billing cycle. Our system auto-prorates your membership upon release of your hold. There are no refunds on dues once payment has been paid. There is a 30 day notice for all holds or cancels.

How do I change my return date on my hold?

You can return from your hold on any day of the month. You need to email haleyorr@fit4mom.com at least 24 hrs prior to your return. If you attend class without advanced notice your credit card on file will be charged for your membership.

What is the fee to place a membership on hold?

There is a $20 fee to place your membership on hold. Memberships can be placed on hold for up to 4 months.

Can I attend classes when my membership is on hold?

When your membership is on hold you can attend classes at the drop-in rate of $20/class. Your credit card on file will be charged automatically.

What is the enrollment fee for a membership?

  • There is a $79 enrollment fee for all new monthly memberships. If you sign up for membership on the first day of class you get $25 off your enrollment fee.

  • If you cancel your membership and then wish to rejoin, you pay a $39.50 reactivation fee to rejoin.

  • Members who transfer to us from another franchise outside will be charged a $25 enrollment fee.

How do I update my credit card on file?

To update your credit card on file:

  • Log into your Pike13 account

  • Below your profile photo you will see a list of options

  • Click on "Payment Methods"

  • Update the information

  • Click “Save”

  • Be sure to delete the old credit card on file

If your monthly dues payment fails and you do not respond to our emails to update your credit card info, your membership will be cancelled.

Who do I contact with questions about my membership?

Is my membership transferable to another franchise location?

No. Memberships are only valid for the franchise where they were purchased. If you move to an area outside of our franchise, you will need to cancel your current membership and sign up for a membership at the new franchise. We encourage you to contact the franchisee where you are moving to and let them know you have a current FIT4MOM membership at another franchise.
